Location

 

Daegu Metropolitan City is one of the largest city in South Korea with over 2.5 million residents. It is located in south-eastern of Korea about 290 kilometers and 90-110 minutes by high speed train (KTX or SRT) from Seoul and about 110 kilometers and 45 minutes from Busan. Daegu is also known as “Apple City” and “Textile City,” currently focusing on fostering fashion and high-tech industries. Attractions include 4 UNESCO World Heritage Sites located in the vicinities.

 

 

 

Special Event: ROBEX2018 (http://www.robex.or.kr/eng)

 

ROBEX2018 (The 7th Daegu International Robot Industry Expo.) will be held in the same place as iFUZZY2018 at the same time. iFUZZY2018 registrees will have free admission to ROBEX2018.

 

 

 

Paper Submission

 

The official language of the conference is English. Papers submitted should be written in English. All papers must be submitted in PDF format via the conference website. Regular papers should be no more than 6 pages in a total length. In addition to regular papers, one-page abstract-only papers are also welcome. Abstract-only papers will be published only in the conference proceedings.

 

 

 

Organized Session

 

Prospective authors are encouraged to propose organized sessions related to the topics of interest. Organized sessions provide a forum for focused discussions on new and innovative technologies. Both oral and poster papers are accepted.

 

 

 

Special Issues

 

Some high-quality papers will be published in the special issue of International Journal of Fuzzy Systems (IJFS) with Impact Factor of 2.198. Other related journals including International Journal of Fuzzy Logic and Intelligent Systems (IJFIS) will publish special issues based on the conference

The City of Gyeong-ju has an important and rich history. For centuries, the city served as the capital of the Silla Dynasty (57-935 BC), the longest period of reign in the history of Korea.
